I’m riding an Instinct BC this season. Crazy how hoppy it is! I’ve been looking after my fitness this year with a whole lotta touring and resort skiing… Not a fan of the gym but I’ve been in there anyway ha-ha. Hopefully the homework I’ve done over the winter will benefit my health throughout the busy spring! This year, I am looking after a young group of riders that come from all sides of the sport. I’m super psyched to work with them, there is a lot of talent in the Bow valley – you will see. Hanging out with them keeps me young and motivated to be a good role model. Crazy schedule balancing coaching with a 40hr work week in Banff but I’m making it work! My race calendar is condensed into mainly 2 months, which is awesome! I love racing but I’m happy to have some time to climb and get after some big alpine missions with my bike and friends while the Valley trails are dry and hot. I always look forward to an abundance of riding in the fall anyway! I’m super lucky to have a local bike shop as well as a Rocky Rep that are not only super supportive, but also know how to throw down! I am excited to ride with all of them! With a fulltime career in Banff at the family shop I will be doing most of my riding in the Bow and Columbia valley. But with some pre planned weekends, I will get after some projects that I’m looking forward to!
